Q&A

What is your delivery policy?

I ship original artworks between 4 to 6 weeks after purchase. This is the time frame I need to varnish and dry the piece and package it safely, as well as create the authenticity certificate. I charge a flat rate for original pieces and prices are available at checkout.

What if something happens during transport?

If something happens during transport, I will take care of everything. I have insurance and will refund you 100% of your purchase. We can then plan a custom piece to recreate the one you love or find another piece available to replace the lost one.

What are the artworks made of?

Artworks are created with high-quality Master’s canvases made locally in Canada, and Gamblin handcrafted oil colors, which use only the finest grade of pigments that we can trust for permanence and studio safety. Paintings are varnished using Gamvar by Gamblin, which saturates colors and gives a unified and protective surface. My frames are handmade by my father-in-law, Hubert. Each frame is stained and varnished to fit the painting perfectly.

Art sketches are created on 8x10 watercolor paper, grounded with 3 layers of clear gesso, and Gamblin handcrafted oil colors, which use only the finest grade of pigments that we can trust for permanence and studio safety. Art sketches are varnished using Gamvar by Gamblin, which saturates colors and gives a unified and protective surface.

Once I buy original artwork, do I own the rights to this piece?

Simply answered, no. I retain all rights for my artworks. This includes the right to the image of sold & commissioned original paintings. I retain the right to make reproductions of all artwork I create unless the collector has purchased the full rights to the artwork (in addition to purchasing the original artwork). Any unauthorized reproduction or use violates copyright law. The artwork may not be resold or reproduced without the written permission of the artist. Please let me know if you are interested in purchasing full or partial rights to your painting, to make sure it will never become a print.
